Travelling the Trans Canada in the Fraser Valley, near Abbotsford, the unmistakable snow-capped Mount Baker comes into view! A majestic giant that remains snow covered most of the summer, at least at the top towers over all other surrounding Rockies.
Kendra is going to miss this view from her balcony, one that she has enjoyed for the last four years. This is an unobstructed view of English Bay and Whistler! But Prince George beckons and her Pharmacy residency courses, so pics will remain part of her memory bank. She will really miss the convenience of her shopping experiences at Broadway and Granville too.
Bill and I hiked up once again to Bridal Falls, one dry day in early May. It is unbelievable how much water cascades over the falls, beginning their downward travels form mountain peaks high above. In the short couple of weeks that we were in the area, most of the snow had melted and made its way over rocks and through rock crevasses. Beautiful, refreshing Spring!
