Our next stop was Topock AZ on the Historic Route 66. Nice Passport America park where we stayed for a week at $15.00 per night overlooking Goose Lake and its adjacent protected wetlands. Here we walked the desert everyday; the desert flowers were putting on a real show. Thoroughly enjoyed the area, travelling one day to historic Oatman(we had been here before) and the famous wild
burros from the days of mining. Not much to see here but the countryside drive was beautiful as the brittle and creosote bushes were splendant in bright yellows!
